We're looking for a passionate marketing professional with a desire to help build something great. Responsibilities include developing and implementing a strategic marketing plan that is aligned with the Executive vision and mission for Spatial Networks. You would be working in our St. Pete office and will plan, organize, coordinate and oversee all marketing events, campaigns, promotional activities, community development initiatives and associated marketing assets and collateral.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a strategic marketing plan that is aligned with the Executive vision and mission for
  • Conduct appropriate market research on new and emerging market segments and adapt strategic marketing plan to address unique aspects of each new and qualified segment.
  • Own the brand messaging for each product and service and communicate that message in various media formats, including our social media portfolio, to achieve the expected revenue outcomes.
  • Plan, organize, coordinate and oversee all marketing events, campaigns, promotional activities, community development initiatives and associated marketing assets and collateral.
  • Maintain a current, working knowledge of the various industry associations, trade groups, media contacts and outlets and properly resource corporate assets to maintain adequate brand recognition in the global marketplace.
  • Define key marketing metrics for inbound marketing, SEO activities, product penetration and customer satisfaction and rigorously manage to those metrics, including regular reporting to Executives.
  • Regularly contribute to the company blogs, video production, speaking opportunities and cultivate a product brand following in social media to engage the community in dialogue.
  • Conduct product pricing reviews, sufficiently segments various editions or versions of products and sets prices according to Executive guidance.  Familiarity with the principles held in the book “Pricing with Confidence” by Reed Holden, is a must for success in this role.
  • Plan and oversee promotional activities, including advertising in print, online, direct email, product update newsletter and other permission-based marketing activities
  • Develop and manage overall marketing budget and report regularly on performance in coordinate with Director of Finance.
  • Set product release expectations and in coordination with key staff, outline quarterly product release schedules, communicate that to users and the general market, as well as internal staff and Executives. Ensure that Creative resources as well as other marketing and advertising resources are properly aligned and synchronized for each release.
  • Be sufficiently knowledgeable of technology to conduct product demonstrations independently, in person or via video conference (WebEx, GoToMeeting, Hangout) to prospective users, media or development partners.
  • Understand the competitive, global landscape and leverage this knowledge to reinforce and communicate our value proposition to each market or industry vertical effectively.
  • Prepare, compile and organize presentation materials and marketing resources for Executive staff, marketing and product managers.
  • Participate in regular office staff meetings and present relevant information to colleagues.
  • Manage, supervise and direct a small but passionate team of product and marketing professionals.


  • BA/BS degree in relevant area of study.
  • 4+ years of Marketing experience in either mobile apps or SaaS.
  • Articulate and professional, excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficient with office administration software and tools (ie. MS Office, email, Instant Messenger, Video Conferencing, multi-line office phone systems, internet browsers, cloud-computing, finance and accounting systems, CRM and other business applications).
  • Demonstrated ability and capability to quickly learn and adapt to new or unknown technologies that add value to job and office performance.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and strong customer engagement acumen.
  • Must be local to the Tampa/St. Petersburg area or willing to relocate.

  • Ability and willingness to travel as needed, primarily domestic but on occasion, internationally.
  • Experience with both Windows and Mac (Apple) products.
  • Comfortable with minimal direction, supervision or guidance.
  • Adept and at-ease with context switching, ambiguity and social environments (ie. equally comfortable in C-level negotiation meetings, industry social events, and technology discussions with staff).
