Spatial Networks is looking for a talented, passionate Android developer with a knack for building clean, quality software. Everything we do involves maps and data, with a focus on usability and simplicity. We thrive on building amazing mapping tools to help individuals and organizations solve problems. You are joining a team of motivated engineers, geographers, and designers who spend every day learning, teaching, and advancing the state of the art in geospatial technology.

We’re building a state-of-the-art, awesome mobile mapping tool called Fulcrum, and you’d be integral in its growth and development as a tool to help governments and companies change the way they work by using Fulcrum’s field data collection tools.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design, build, ship and maintain mobile apps on the Android platform
  • Work with the team to design new product features
  • Help maintain code quality and review others’ code
  • Proactively address performance issues and bugs
  • Raise your own, and the teams, skill level every day by growing and learning
  • Use available project management and communication tools to work with everyone on the team


  • Diverse background and knowledge of mobile design patterns, HTML, CSS, Javascript and other modern tech
  • Capable of creating efficient and performant applications
  • Have an eye for good UI/UX design and implementation
  • Knowledge of working with and implementing REST APIs
  • Experience with Git/GitHub
  • Experience with mapping/geospatial toolkits like Google Maps is preferred

This is a full-time, on-site, salaried position located in St. Petersburg, FL. There is no salary cap established for this role and the successful candidate will enjoy healthy performance bonuses. Compensation is also commensurate with experience and is composed of salary, medical, dental 401(K) plan and corporate matching, paid holidays, PTO and standard benefits. You won’t be disappointed.
