As an Account Executive, you’ll be responsible for engaging with and qualifying prospects, educating them about the product, and closing opportunities. You’ll be talking with customers in all time zones, helping them understand the value of Fulcrum.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Qualify and close high-value prospects for Fulcrum
  • Manage and maintain your own pipeline of opportunities in CRM
  • Learn about Fulcrum, the problems we solve, and how to communicate that value to various stakeholders
  • Engage with prospects and build relationships with key decision makers
  • Prioritize inbound and outbound-generated opportunities and focus on highest value
  • Focus on Enterprise account opportunities


  • Prior success selling SaaS/cloud-based solutions to business owners and IT Directors of small, medium, and large-sized companies
  • Proficient with 21st century team productivity tools (email, instant messaging, video conferencing, CRM, etc.)
  • Strong closing skills
  • Excellent phone skills
  • Prior income of at least $100K/yr, mostly from commissions
  • Comfortable understanding of technology
  • No fear of finding new opportunities (hunting) for users of SaaS products & services on a regular basis
  • Exceptional verbal communications skills
  • Great time management skills to optimize your daily routine
  • Resourceful approach to identifying and building relationships with key people

Qualities we're looking for

  • Awesome communication skills. You should be a great writer and speaker -- you'll be writing content, and talking constantly with new prospects, existing customers, and our own team.
  • A GTD attitude. Identify next actions, communicate intent, and execute. We're a fast-paced team, and this role covers a wide area, so a results-driven mentality is critical.
  • Ownership thinking. Have the ability to take ownership and make decisions. Passion and self-motivation is key. We don't micromanage, you'll be expected to own and deliver.
  • Desire to build something great and bring technical solutions to people to solve their problems.
